I LOVE how little maintenance the Litter Robot requires. I only have one cat and was able to go two weeks before changing out the bag. I just checked the drawer once to make sure it wasn’t getting too full and shook it a little to make sure nothing piled too high. At first, my cat didn’t use the step and just jumped in and out, which meant the timer didn’t activate. I’m glad there was a button I could press to activate the cycle. The cat is now using the step, so all is well. I only have one little complaint.
The timer waits 7 minutes after activation before beginning the cleaning/rotating cycle. Seven minutes is too long and allows odor to permeate the room (if the cat doesn’t cover everything properly–which mine doesn’t). So, we’ve had to go press the button early sometimes to “get the ball rolling”. That’s the only time we ever smell anything though. I love having this–great purchase! Said By M.
