I love this hand vac for cleaning up pet fur. I’ve had it for a week now & I’ve been using it to clean our large dog’s bed. She sheds everywhere… The rubber tip works great on fabric – like the dogs bed and the couch. I also use it to vac our carpeted stairs. It does a good job on the stairs b/c the rubber tip has holes on the top & bottom of it. I also used the other tip (hard plastic) to vacuum our car. Did a good job – and the tip can get into most cracks & crevices.

This vac does need to be cleaned out after each use though b/c it’s bagless. Everytime I use it there is a large clump of fur in it (it picks up a lot!). The filter is a bit tricky to put back together though. And I use my big vacuum to clean the white pleated filter out. I highly recommend this vac if you have pets, pet beds and/or a dirty car. We first tried these when given them from the vet for our rottweiler. He had a lot of places he chewed and the hair was gone in spots. He always suffered from dry skin and his coat looked dull. I LOVE how little maintenance the Litter Robot requires. I only have one cat and was able to go two weeks before changing out the bag. I just checked the drawer once to make sure it wasn’t getting too full and shook it a little to make sure nothing piled too high. At first, my cat didn’t use the step and just jumped in and out, which meant the timer didn’t activate. I’m glad there was a button I could press to activate the cycle. The cat is now using the step, so all is well. I only have one little complaint.

The timer waits 7 minutes after activation before beginning the cleaning/rotating cycle. Seven minutes is too long and allows odor to permeate the room (if the cat doesn’t cover everything properly–which mine doesn’t). So, we’ve had to go press the button early sometimes to “get the ball rolling”. That’s the only time we ever smell anything though. I love having this–great purchase! Said By M. I have used the Litter Locker Plus for several years and it is wonderful. Keeps the smell down to nothing and the cartridges are very good. I have only broken 1 bag and it was my fault in the last 13 refills! I no longer follow their instructions. Just knot the end of the new bag and pull out enough to almost reach the bottom straight down.
